Turnkey Project… What does it mean?
🌐Partnering with 𝗠𝗙𝗜 is having access to world-class experts to train and strengthen the level of skill of your teams on specific topics. Indeed, through our filiation with Météo-France, we are in capacity to mobilize highly qualified specialists from the best scientific centers around the world in order for them to share their experience and their knowledge.
⛅ For example, during the month of October, within the 𝗠𝗗𝗣𝟮𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 we are carrying out for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of Kuwait, we organized two 2-week training sessions for 14 staff members of the 𝗞𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 on the wide, complex and crucial topic of climatology and climate services.🧑🏼🎓The trainees assisted to classes given by experts from Météo-France , Copernicus ECMWF, KNMI - Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut and World Meteorological Organization on subjects as varied as:
✅ computation, homogenization & rescue of climate data,
✅familiarization with the concept of 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳,
✅ presentation of Copernicus’ Climate data Store,
✅or focus on climate services development for better adaptation policies in a context of global climate change, etc.
Of course, the presentation of MFI’s Climate Data Management System 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗬𝗦 was also part of the training program.
🙏🏼 All these sessions were a wonderful opportunity for great scientific cooperation with many enriching exchanges, comparison of practices and share of knowledge. We thank all participants (trainees and trainers 😉) for their interest and commitment.

🗝️ We like to say that we propose "𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗞𝗘𝗬" projects to our customers. But what does it actually mean? It means that, within a global strengthening project, we provide all necessary technical solutions of course, but also all relevant services that will allow beneficiaries to take full ownership of their new equipment and make the most out of their investment. That’s integration, training, change management, consultancy on specific topics, etc. But sometimes, it goes even further, according to customers’ specific needs.
🏢 For example, within the VIGICLIMM Project we are currently carrying out in Côte d’Ivoire, our customer SODEXAM Côte d'Ivoire needed a brand-new building to host its Meteorological Department. True to our “𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩”, and in order to avoid 𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠 having to deal with an additional service provider, we included this realization in our global offer. Easier and more efficient for everyone involved!
🏗️ In collaboration with our local subcontractor OBTIMA-BEG INGENIERIE-BEG, we launched the construction of the 2500 sqm and 2-storage building in the spring. It will be watertight by mid-September and airtight before end of November. The final delivery is planned second trimester of 2026. The building has been designed to match all the operational needs of 𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠’s Meteorological Department. It includes a modern Forecasting Office, a Data Center, but also a Press Room and specific training facilities.
💎 No doubt that this building will be the perfect setting for the whole new meteorological ecosystem 𝗠𝗙𝗜 is deploying for 𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘𝗫𝗔𝗠!
