🌐Partnering with 𝗠𝗙𝗜 is having access to world-class experts to train and strengthen the level of skill of your teams on specific topics. Indeed, through our filiation with Météo-France, we are in capacity to mobilize highly qualified specialists from the best scientific centers around the world in order for them to share their experience and their knowledge.

⛅ For example, during the month of October, within the 𝗠𝗗𝗣𝟮𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 we are carrying out for the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) of Kuwait, we organized two 2-week training sessions for 14 staff members of the 𝗞𝘂𝘄𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗶 𝗠𝗲𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 on the wide, complex and crucial topic of climatology and climate services.🧑🏼‍🎓The trainees assisted to classes given by experts from Météo-France , Copernicus ECMWF, KNMI - Koninklijk Nederlands Meteorologisch Instituut and World Meteorological Organization on subjects as varied as:
✅ computation, homogenization & rescue of climate data,
✅familiarization with the concept of 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳,
✅ presentation of Copernicus’ Climate data Store,
✅or focus on climate services development for better adaptation policies in a context of global climate change, etc.
Of course, the presentation of MFI’s Climate Data Management System 𝗖𝗟𝗜𝗦𝗬𝗦 was also part of the training program.
