\ud83d\udea8If you follow our page, you know that MFI has been strongly committed to finding effective solutions to the United Nations \ud835\ude40\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude67\ud835\ude61\ud835\ude6e \ud835\ude52\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude67\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude5e\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude5c\ud835\ude68 \ud835\ude41\ud835\ude64\ud835\ude67 \ud835\ude3c\ud835\ude61\ud835\ude61\u00a0challenge since it was launched in 2022. We have conceptualized an integrated multi-stakeholder approach across the \ud835\uddf3\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddf9\ud835\uddf9 \ud835\uddd8\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf9\ud835\ude06 \ud835\uddea\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf4 \/ \ud835\uddd8\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf9\ud835\ude06 \ud835\uddd4\ud835\uddf0\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddfb \ud835\ude03\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddf9\ud835\ude02\ud835\uddf2 \ud835\uddf0\ud835\uddf5\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfb. \u23f0 It is more than time to move on from theory to action and that is just what we are doing with the \ud835\udde9\ud835\udddc\ud835\uddda\ud835\udddc\ud835\uddd6\ud835\udddf\ud835\udddc\ud835\udde0\ud835\udde0 \ud835\udde3\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddf7\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf0\ud835\ude01 we are carrying in C\u00f4te d'Ivoire for the benefit of SODEXAM<\/strong>. The project aims at strengthening the Ivorian global Warning System, while also developing the country\u2019s climate and meteorological service capacity.

\n\ud83e\udef1\ud83c\udffd\u200d\ud83e\udef2\ud83c\udffd A few days ago, we brought together forecasters from \ud835\udde6\ud835\udde2\ud835\uddd7\ud835\uddd8\ud835\uddeb\ud835\uddd4\ud835\udde0's Meteorological Department and representatives of ONPC CI <\/strong>(Ivorian Civil Protection) in a unique workshop, jointly organized with our partner PREDICT Services<\/strong>,\u00a0specialized in flood risk management. This original workshop gave the realistic conditions to operationally test the integrated Early Warning \/ Early Action technical environment developed by MFI<\/strong> and PREDICT<\/strong>. It was the opportunity to check out and optimize coordination processes between \ud835\udde6\ud835\udde2\ud835\uddd7\ud835\uddd8\ud835\uddeb\ud835\uddd4\ud835\udde0 and \ud835\udde2\ud835\udde1\ud835\udde3\ud835\uddd6-\ud835\uddd6\ud835\udddc when managing and issuing weather warnings. No doubt that the feedback of the workshop will be used as a valuable input before full-scale implementation in C\u00f4te d'Ivoire.<\/p>\n

\ud83c\udf24\ufe0f \ud83d\ude92We are convinced an efficient cooperation between National Met Services and National Disaster Management Authorities is a crucial key success factor for any Early Warning system, and the only way to turn\u00a0\ud835\uddd8\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf9\ud835\ude06 \ud835\ude04\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddf4 \ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfb\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddfc \ud835\uddd8\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf9\ud835\ude06 \ud835\uddee\ud835\uddf0\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddfb\ud835\ude00\u00a0that really protect lives and infrastructure. It was a great satisfaction to see this principle take life during this \ud835\udde9\ud835\udddc\ud835\uddda\ud835\udddc\ud835\uddd6\ud835\udddf\ud835\udddc\ud835\udde0\ud835\udde0 workshop: a validation that our approach and methodology meet the expectations \"\ud835\ude30\ud835\ude2f \ud835\ude35\ud835\ude29\ud835\ude26 \ud835\ude28\ud835\ude33\ud835\ude30\ud835\ude36\ud835\ude2f\ud835\ude25\" to reach the objectives of the \ud835\udde8\ud835\udde1 \ud835\uddd8\ud835\uddea\ud835\udff0\ud835\uddd4\ud835\uddf9\ud835\uddf9 initiative.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
