\ud83d\udcc5 Last April, we had the pleasure to welcome, in collaboration with our partner Sterela , a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (Cambodia) - MoWRaM to start drawing the outlines on an ambitious and sustainable modernization project for the national meteorological Cambodian department. The pleasure was renewed this week with a new visit from a delegation led by the Secretary of State of the MoWRaM, \ud835\udddb.\ud835\uddd8. \ud835\uddd6\ud835\uddf5\ud835\uddee\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddfb \ud835\udde6\ud835\uddf6\ud835\uddfb\ud835\uddee\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf5.<\/p>\n

\u2712\ufe0f We are proud to announce that the 3-day visit culminated in the signing of a \ud835\udddf\ud835\uddf2\ud835\ude01\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff \ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddf3 \ud835\udddc\ud835\uddfb\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddfb\ud835\ude01 between \ud835\udde0\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddea\ud835\udde5\ud835\uddee\ud835\udde0, \ud835\udde6\ud835\ude01\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddf9\ud835\uddee and \ud835\udde0\ud835\uddd9\ud835\udddc. The partnership described in the document outlines a strategic collaboration to modernize Cambodia\u2019s meteorological services and improve early warning systems for extreme weather conditions, supporting national resilience against climate change.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udcdd As part of this agreement, Sterela METEO will provide a complete range of meteorological and hydrological observation equipment, ensuring that Cambodia has the best tools available for weather monitoring and early detection of extreme climate events. \ud835\udde0\ud835\uddd9\ud835\udddc will deliver all necessary elements for the integration and operation of these observation systems within a new dedicated Information System to be hosted by the \ud835\udde0\ud835\uddfc\ud835\uddea\ud835\udde5\ud835\uddee\ud835\udde0 Data Centre, allowing for efficient data processing and ultimately socio-economic benefits for Cambodia. The modernization program will pave the way to full compliance with the United Nations \ud835\ude40\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude67\ud835\ude61\ud835\ude6e \ud835\ude6c\ud835\ude56\ud835\ude67\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude5e\ud835\ude63\ud835\ude5c\ud835\ude68 \ud835\ude5b\ud835\ude64\ud835\ude67 \ud835\ude3c\ud835\ude61\ud835\ude61 initiative (#EW4All<\/strong>), to tailored services to Aviation, Marine, Defense and Agriculture.<\/p>\n

\ud83d\udee3\ufe0f We are looking forward to continuing to bring this ambitious project to fruition, convinced that it will bring many benefits to Cambodia, including better protection of its population and improved support to all weather-sensitive activities.<\/p>\n
